What are the ages of the children who will use the play structure?
Functionality
What are your priorities for the functionality of the play structure? Are you more interested in sliding, climbing, or swinging? Is the focus physical fitness or imaginative play?
Space
How much space is available for the play structure?
Shade
Will the play structure be in a sunny location? If so, you may want to consider installing some type of shade cover to protect children from the sun. Are there trees or other existing items in the area that need to be considered?
Color
Would you like the play structure to blend with the environment fo a more natural look, or be bold and stand out? Maybe you would like to incorporate school colors or the team mascot?
Timing
What is the time frame for completion of the project?
Budget
What is your budget for the entire project?
Installation
Will your playground be installed by a professional installer, or a group of volunteers or staff?
